I recently added a second user for an AMP account (#). I set it up CQG no data/order routing only and want to use Teton with the current Denali data I use in Sierra, since first user uses CQG data I feed into spreadsheet. How can I make sure there is communication between Sierra and AMP, since it's either Teton or CQG, currently it can not be both? Please don't send me links on setup. When I tried to use Teton with clearing firm AMP, it says no account has been assigned. Best Regards Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-12-08 22:30:55

You probably need to to address this with AMP. They need to set it up on their end.

It sounds like you have two accounts with AMP, one setup to use Teton and one setup to use CQG. If this is the case, then you need to have two installations of Sierra Chart, one to connect to Teton and one to CQG. Refer to the following for how to install another Sierra Chart: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart You are setup to get the CME exchange data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, so you will get that data to both installations. You state that you are getting an error of "No Trading Accounts Assigned" when trying to connect to Teton. Is this a recent development? Were you connecting to Teton previously? If so, then this sounds like AMP may have setup both accounts on CQG. You need to check with AMP on the setups for your accounts. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello John, The CQG setup feeds directly into spreadsheet because of Qtrader excel functionality. Sierra unrelated and not used at all with CQG data with first user. In Sierra, the BEST market profile charting program for the value bar none, I would like to use Second user Teton Order routing with Denali data for order entries in the same spot where multiple time frame analysis levels are done in Sierra, cleared through AMP. I was not connecting to Teton previously but will eventually. Please reread my first post. Second user I set up at AMP as CQG no data/order routing only. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-12-09 16:47:46

We are completely confused as to the setup you are having/wanting. It sounds like you are using QTrader with your CQG account and not Sierra Chart. Please give us the information on what you have with regards to what you want from Sierra Chart. If you are not using CQG with Sierra Chart, then we do not need to know about this. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Trading is the easier part. lol Reinstating: I would like to start using your Teton order routing with Denali data WITHOUT losing my CQG data excel capability in QTrader from AMP. More info: From email directly from AMP: You cannot enable CQG and Teton order routing at the same time for the same account; it has to be one or the other, or you can have two CQG users for CQG order routing, which you already have enabled. The 1st CQG user is enabled for CQG with the data of the CME bundle. The 2nd CQG user is enabled for CQG order routing only with no data. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-12-09 19:05:09

In this case, keep the first account as it is. That is fine. There could be an issue with multiple connections to the same CQG account if you are connecting from Sierra Chart and from QTrader, but if you have been using this setup, then nothing needs to change. For the second account, you need to tell AMP that you want to use the "Teton Order Routing Service" and not CQG. So redo the form for the second account and specify that you want Teton. Follow the instructions at the following link for setting up the Teton Order Routing service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

For the second user, not a separate account, that is what I requested then. From AMP email and my last post: You cannot enable CQG and Teton order routing at the same time for the same account. I don't know what the working relationship is between AMP and Sierra. I think it's an impossibility and unworkable to use your Teton Order routing with Denali data in Sierra AND have CQG for Excel Spreadsheet at the same time within one account. Opening a second instance of Sierra would still lose me the QTrader CQG spreadsheet functionality. Can I open a second trading account at AMP, then choose Teton? Yes. Then do an internal AMP transfer between accounts. That is a possibility with no additional costs. The convenient solution would be, since I'm unable to use Teton without losing the CQG Excel data feed, I think right now with the second user, I need to change it to CQG data for the second user as well, and have the data fees come from the broker account and cancel Denali data fees which goes to CME. I heard good things about Teton but you perhaps can tell me what the best ordering routing is? and whether there is a wider quality difference between the two. I don't have hard numbers to to prove that Teton is superior, but it is one of the reasons I use Sierra Chart. It's also slightly cheaper and doesn't seem to go down as much as CQG. I think it's one of Sierra Chart's strong selling points along with configurability, copious historical data and raw speed. With that said, there are a lot of people that use CQG both on SC and with other platforms. For the vast majority of traders, CQG is probably perfectly fine. |

I'll make the necessary changes and use Teton after all. I apologize for any confusion since it seems having 2 different order routing within the same account truly doesn't make sense. Hopefully it will be helpful to others as well. Meant what I said about Sierra's superb market profile and charting capabilities. The very same best wishes of a Merry Christmas and a successful 2026 to you, John, and your family. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-12-09 23:51:41
