Hello, it also takes about 1/2 hour to load at start up but what is a real problem is it will freeze for 1/2 hr when I turn Sim Trade on or off

Nothing shows in the log regarding the switch.

We just have to make sure we understand this. Are you just changing the state of "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On"? Or are you actually changing the service you are connected to when you want to trade live?

The freezing is probably at the operating system level. We want you to clear out the trade activity data:
Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Not Displaying or Clearing (Improving Trade Activity Query Performance)

Trade Activity Log: Clearing Trade Activity Data Through Files

And delete, the Backups folder within the TradeActivityLogs subfolder.

Same this is happening, I went to Trade >> Clear Trade Simulation Orders and Data

It has frozen with the spinning circle.

It is hung up when you selected "Clear Trade Simulation Orders and Data"?

Or the system still hung up after you did the above and then switched the state of "Trade Simulation Mode On"?

If the first, then most likely you had a lot of data for simulated data, and it is just taking a long time to delete everything. We suggest waiting to see if the system comes back after it finishes the process.

Did you clear out all of the trade activity data by deleting the files? We think the problem is you have an excessive amount of trade activity data.

Easiest thing to do is to exit from Sierra Chart and go to the /TradeActivityLogs subfolder, and just delete the files in there.

I have followed this article: Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Not Displaying or Clearing (Improving Trade Activity Query Performance)

Since at the end it said exit Sierra, I also decided to update to the latest version 2813.

The desktop has been frozen at startup for the past hour.

The last log says

It operates completely fine after the 1-2 hr load or the 1/2 freeze between trade sim change

submitted my trade log

We see the following messages in your log that is definitely causing an issue:
NetworkSocketCore | Error posting message in c_AsyncWindow::PostMessage. Windows error code 1816: Not enough quota is available to process this command. MessageCounts=1026:1, . Unknown state. Restart Sierra Chart. *

But we do not know why you are getting these errors.

We also see a lot of files set to download and some issues with the system trying to find some DLLs initially. We see items like the following:
2025-12-05 20:30:47.890 | Searching for files containing BotRoster_AllInOne_v2_8_patched_fix returned empty result. *
2025-12-05 20:30:47.890 | Error loading: C:\SierraChart\Data\BotRoster_AllInOne_v2_8_patched_fix.dll. File not found or may be missing SCDLLName line.

We want you to start Sierra Chart in Safe Mode and see if you are having a problem with a custom study. Follow these instructions to start in Safe Mode:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode

If you continue to have the issue in Safe Mode, then we will have to do some further investigation as to why.

If you do not have the issue in Safe Mode, then this implies that you are having an issue with one, or more, custom studies. We do not have a way to figure out which one - you would need to work through that yourself, or with the developers, to see what you can figure out.
