I’m trading through the TT–Sierra Chart connection and noticed an issue today. I manually entered a trade directly through TT and also placed both target and stop orders via TT (using the same account that’s linked to Sierra Chart). The open position was visible in Sierra Chart, but the associated orders did not appear — even though in similar previous cases they did. Later, when the position was exited through a trailing stop, Sierra Chart did not cancel the working orders, despite the “Cancel All Working Orders” signal being active. This seems to confirm that Sierra Chart was unaware of the orders that were visible in TT. Could you please help me understand why those orders weren’t seen in Sierra Chart this time? Also, as a separate question — is the TT–Sierra Chart connection considered stable now, and does it have any current or upcoming shutdown deadlines? Thank you for your help. |

Yes this does make sense because the connection has been reconfigured by TT not to send unsolicited orders over the FIX connection used by Sierra Chart: The open position was visible in Sierra Chart, but the associated orders did not appear — even though in similar previous cases they did.
The large order flow from unsolicited activity was a source of the previous problems. This seems to confirm that Sierra Chart was unaware of the orders that were visible in TT. Yes this is correct. We do not want to keep the connection up beyond the end of January 2026: is the TT–Sierra Chart connection considered stable now, and does it have any current or upcoming shutdown deadlines?

Thank you for clarifying that the TT connection no longer sends unsolicited orders over FIX and confirming that Sierra Chart will not display such orders. I understand that this design change prevents the large unsolicited order flow that previously caused issues. Is there any workaround or configuration change available that would allow these manually placed TT orders to be visible in Sierra Chart again — or at least ensure that working orders are synchronized for accurate monitoring and cancellation? Also, thank you for confirming the January 2026 timeline. I’ll update our internal team about this deadline. Appreciate your continued support. |

There is no workaround for this. All orders have to be entered from Sierra Chart.

Teton only supports the CME Group, this is correct. There are no plans to support other exchanges at this time. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
