I am trying to get live Forex data and it looks like SC supports that. Do I select SC DATA in the data/trade services? Can I just leave my clearing firm at AMP? I am using this for FOREX sim at the moment. Is it free or is there a service to add?

Thanks. I did this but when I go to bring up any of the FX pairs, the chart is just stuck in the screen 'Waiting to Download Historical Data'. I only have it on a 15min chart set for 60 days of data. This would load in seconds with my normal broker. Am I missing something?

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks". Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) We will then determine what the problem is. I was able to get it working. Does Sierra offer free data like this for stocks as well?

If I am reading this correctly, I believe I have the correct datafeed for it? I already have the Teton feed. Is there something else I need to get US equities? When I looked at my datafeed I see this - [✔] The Denali Data Feed is active. How do I access stocks from there? I can't find them in the symbol search. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-08-04 22:21:45

The mark next to "The Denali Data Feed is Active" denotes that you are on one of the "Integrated" packages. It does not mean that you actually have specific data. You need to activate the exchanges for which you want the real-time data. You currently have the following exchanges active: - CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts - COMEX Non-Professional Top-of-Book - U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape Since you have the "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" active, you have access to the real-time data for U.S. Stocks and ETFs. There are too many items to list, so you can either type in the ticker and open a chart, or you can do a search by following these instructions: File Menu: Searching for Stock Symbols For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The symbol for that chart is "TSLA-NQTV". Since you have the -NQTV suffix, you are specifying that you want the data from our NASDAQ TotalView exchange. You are not setup to get real-time data from our NASDAQ TotalView exchange. You do have the "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" exchange active, in which case you need to enter the symbol as the standard ticker symbol (TSLA) in order to get the real-time data from that exchange.
