Same Volume Chart, same settings, different candle

I have two identical charts placed on two clone platforms: one gets data directly from Denali, the other from Denali plus Rithmic. As shown in the picture, the timezone and chart settings are identical, but the bars start and end at different times, and they also differ because I believe they take the start of the chart at different points or with different volumes. Now I’m wondering: is there a way, even when using Rithmic while having Denali, to make the platform use Denali’s data so that the volume bars match? Or is there some other setting I’m missing? The bars on the chart are 1000-volume bars. P.S. This happens only with the volume bars, but it’s fine with range or tick candles. I have already tried deleting and re-downloading the data, but nothing has changed. thanks for any reply Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-07-28 12:58:56

This statement is not possible - "the other from Denali plus Rithmic." You are either getting the data from our Denali Exchange Feed or you are getting the data from Rithmic. If one installation is getting the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed and the other installation is getting data from Rithmic, then our first guess is that this is an issue with differences in data. You will find that our data matches the exchange, so we know our data is fine. Also, there are a plethora of settings that can affect a chart and how the data is displayed, so we can not say that this is not due to some setting somewhere that is different between your two systems. The best way to verify this is to copy the chartbook from one installation to the other and see if the chart is the same or different. If it is different, then there is a setting somewhere that is affecting this. It’s literally a physical copy of one installation set up on a new installation for trading a Prop in the same computer. So, I’m using Rithmic for the prop. This leaves me a bit puzzled, as I don’t understand why two identical copies seem to calculate the candle volumes differently

We know you believe that the settings are exactly the same. But sometimes you change something to check something, then forget to change it back. Or you think you changed in both and did not. Since there are dozens (maybe even hundreds) of settings that can affect the data, we can not say. This is why we recommend copying a chartbook from one system to another to determine if there is a difference in the chart or in the global settings, or in the data. Again, if you are using Denali data in one instance, and Rithmic data in another, then we still recommend copying the chartbook from one installation to another. If the chart is exactly the same in both chartbooks in one installation, then the problem is the data. Our recommendation in this case is to use the Denali Data in both installations. This is not a problem (there is no extra cost) if the installations are on the same computer. If they are on separate computers, then you would need to pay a second set of exchange fees - refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed on Two Computers Simultaneously For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
