Hi!!!

I changed contracts on NQ today and for some reason i am missing the slide bar on the bottom right corner of the chart. This slide bar when moved to the left, allows you to view history.
Can you help me get it back please?

Thank you so much

If the scrollbar is not being displayed, then select "Chart >> Show Scrollbar". Refer to the following:
Chart Menu: Show Scrollbar (Chart menu)

Hi John, yep tried that. Still missing.. Not important really but i just wonder what happened to it..Ever since yesterday when the yellow box popped up to change contracts, i have been having a few issues. Not only the scroll bar BUT all my data history is gone. Its not in the C drive either.. The file is empty. Is there anyway to recover my old data?

Thank you John

We find it hard to believe that the data is gone. So you do not see any files for ESM25.CME in your Data folder?

Also, you are using Rithmic for your data, and that means that there is a lack of historical data. So with the transition to the new contract, you do not have the historical data available for that specific contract.

This is probably also the reason for the missing scrollbar, as it sounds like all the data you have available is displayed on the screen at one time, so there is nothing to scroll back to.

And due to using Rithmic, we can not recommend using a Continuous Futures Contract, as that will cause issues with getting data in general from Rithmic.

In the end, we recommend getting your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed so you will not have these issues. Just keep in mind that the CME Group requires that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to get the data at the non-professional rates. Refer to the following:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

The "MarketDepthData" folder holds the Market Depth data, and not the actual trading data. The trading data is directly in the "Data" folder and for intraday data the files have a .scid extension. Daily historical data has an extension of .dly.

Are you missing Market Depth data? Are you setup to get market depth data from Rithmic?
