Dear Support, after updating to the latest version of Sierra Chart, the daily charts no longer download data for any symbol. I tried deleting the files in the “Data” folder to force a new download, but the issue remains. The PC is set up with 4 monitors, each displaying a daily chart. Sierra Home is on Monitor 2 Could you please help me resolve this? If needed, I’m available for remote assistance via TeamViewer (user ID and password are attached). There is a limit on the number of historical daily data downloads you can make, and you have hit that limit. You can pay for additional downloads by selecting an option at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#AdditionalHistoricalDownloads For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We do not have specific information on when the downloads were done or what they were. Just the cumulative number. This would occur if you were doing scanning of a large number of symbols or going through an Associated Watch List. John, I didn’t make 5,000 downloads, and it’s strange that it happened today, right after I installed the new version. Honestly, I get the feeling you’re not really willing to give me a logical explanation.

We cannot give an explanation. The log files for the historical data downloads would exist only on your system. Do you have them set to be saved to a file?: Message Log: Automatically Saving Message Log to File If so, we can then explain how to access the information, to easily tell what has caused all of these requests.
