Hello, I recently purchased a volumetric indicator for trading and installed it on my chart, but I am unable to get it to work. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Attached here is a photo of how my chart should look. |

The chart you show is for the symbol ES. You are currently on a trial and therefore do not have access to that symbol, so if you are trying to do this for ES, it will not work. Refer to the following for what data is available during a trial: Sierra Chart Trial Account Apart from the above, there is no reason for a custom study to not work on a valid symbol. Refer to the following for items to check related to a custom study not working: Resolving Custom Study File and Access Issues: Custom Study Problems - Things to Check In general, you will need to contact the developer of the study to work through the issues. Good morning, attached here I show you the problem from my chart. When I try to open my indicator, the whole screen appears gray. There is probably some setting to adjust to make the indicator work. Can you check my chart?

Hello, It is not an "indicator" you are trying to open, it is a Chartbook file. And it seems your chartbook "DOM___TAPE_SP500_SCALPING_TEMPLATE_SIERRA_CHART" contains no chart at all. It is why the screen is grey (empty). An empty chartbook with no chart has a size of 1KB. If it's the case for "DOM___TAPE_SP500_SCALPING_TEMPLATE_SIERRA_CHART", then it is normal it contains no chart. |

It could be what Sebastien states, but it most likely is that the chart is for the symbol ES. As we stated previously, you do not have access to the ES data while on a trial. Refer to the following: Sierra Chart Trial Account You would need to either change the symbol for that chart to one you do have access to in order to view it, or you would need to change to a paid package. Since it's the first time I'm using Sierra Chart, I would like to use another symbol available in the free trial and be able to associate my indicator. Can you help me with a guide on how to set up the chart with the indicator? Thank you.

Open the chartbook as you have done and then change the symbol for the charts you want to change.
