Hi, How can i set an alert for SG in the numbers bar calculated values For eg if a specific SG < xxx (the value when it triggers) I am looking for the if statement for the above. I had done it in the past but i am not able to figure it out now |

You do not need an "IF()" statement for true/false tests in the Alerts. So the following statement is the right idea: =SG < xxx But, there are some special rules for what you need to do to access the information for some of the Numbers Bars Calculated Values. Refer to the following: Numbers Bars: Referencing Numbers Bars Calculated Values Subgraphs in Alert Formulas For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Okay - i will give this a try tomorrow. Also, i was testing out the alerts just on price conditions. Every time alert triggered , the alert manager and alert log both pop up. How can i not have the alert manager pop up but let only the log pop up |

We do not know what you mean by "Alert Manager" and "Alert Log". To us, this is the same thing. There is a "Compact Alert Pop-Up" window, if maybe this is what you are referring to. This can be set for specific alerts to show in it. By default, alerts do not show in the "Compact Alert Pop-Up". Also refer to the following setting: General Settings Window: Show Alerts Log On Study Alert (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts >> Additional Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
