Yes, you can use Sierra Chart for Sim Trading and Charting without a broker - this is fully supported.

The one area that can be an issue is with data from the CME Group. The CME Group has a requirement that in order to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees that you have a live, funded, futures trading account that you can connect to at least once a month to prove its existence and continue to get the lower-priced fees. For more information, refer to the following:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

But, if you are just using the system for simulated trading, then we recommend using the Delayed Streaming Exchange Data Feed, which gives you delayed data for the CME Group and EUREX. This data acts, in all respects, the same as the live data - including Market Depth - but is delayed by 10-15 minutes (depending on exchange). Refer to the following for more information:
Delayed Exchange Data Feed

Also, we offer a Simulated Futures Trading Service that acts more like a real-world environment, as it is a server based environment where your orders are sent to our servers for execution. This service also works with the delayed streaming data. For more information, refer to the following:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
