Still at a loss 1) updated to 2197 2) Edit=>translate symbols... 3) closed all chartbooks and waited for messages to stop.. Results 1) received error messages not enough disc space ..Process was started with 14GB of space. 2) chartbooks were correctly backedup and new ones created 3) no chart in any instance has new symbols in the headers. What's next if I'm to go chart by chart and manual change the symbols than please provide the new file formats including those for continuation charts so I can delete the non applicable files I tried the delete and down load command but that just returned the old symbol and Data??
