It is good see that someone else has experienced this. I think it is an issue with the replay function. Also, remember, it has happened to me on both of my computers at different times when I try the replay function. Also, note, that it does not happen every time. Also, note the only way I could get the spinning circle to stop was to use the windows function to "end the task".

It freezes only the replay screen and not for just a few seconds, it just sits there with the circle spinning and replies that the replay screen is not responding.
