Folks, need some help. I wanted to enable nasdaq data and i seemed to have enabled the Nasdaq, S&P Index, Nasdaq Index and CME Index as well and i still dont get data for stocks.. I believe i have enabled S&P Index, Nasdaq Index and CME Index in error thinking that that would enable the stock data. Any way you could help ensure 1
1. I have enabled the right exchanges to get the stock data
2. Help refund with the S&P Index, Nasdaq Index and CME Index as i was under the impression that once this is enabled i would get Stocks data

The first thing you need to do is to fill out the NASDAQ Non-Professional Certification again, as it was missing the selection for "Occupation". You can access this agreement here:

After that is done, then the next thing to do is to ensure you have your symbols correct. For the NASDAQ TotalView data, you need to enter symbols with a suffix of "-NQTV". For example, for AAPL, you would need the symbol "AAPL-NQTV". Otherwise, you will only get delayed data.

Hi John, thank you for your help. I may need some help here. If you have 5 min, we can get on a quick call and I can pay for it. Here are some of my follow up questions

1.  I am trying to use Nasdaq Total View for stocks and also the feed from TopStep Trader which is a rythemic feed. How can i run multiple data services on the same instance
2.  Could I execute trades out of Sierra Charts for Stocks? Do you have any Direct Market access routes?
3. Can i setup alerts on multiple stocks, once the alert is triggered stock name is either shown to me or i have some voice translation?

Thank you for your response, but I can only run 1 or the other data service. I tried running both rythemic and sierra all services but it does not work. I need some help here and willing to pay for the telephone consultation…

You just set Sierra Chart to use Rithmic and you can also access the [stock symbol]-NQTV symbols while connected to Rithmic. Nothing special to do. Just simply use the symbols.

I have done that and I notice that the stocks are not real-time. Only when I change it to sierra all does the stocks data work real time but then I loose the futures real time data

The only reason this should occur is if your setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is set to No. Ensure that this is set to Yes.

Then set your system to connect to your Rithmic account.

Then make sure your stock data symbols are entered with the '-NQTV' suffix. For example, AAPL should be entered as AAPL-NQTV.

At this point, you should be getting real-time data for your futures and stocks.

Thank you. The next issue is i get only 3 days of data. My settings are 60 days in the chart. What do i need to do to resolve this?

Please give us the exact symbol for one chart as it is entered in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol.

You need to select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" to get the missing data into the system. You will need to do this once for each symbol (you do not need to do it for every chart, just every symbol).
