Hello,

When I download historical data via delete all data and download, I'm only getting a TINY FRACTION of historical intraday data. ie as an example, only 3,043 KB of MNQH22. It should be over 2,000,000!

Obviously something is seriously messed up and the latest release (2353 64-bit) is not solving the problem.

Attaching the MNQH22 file just to show how small it is. Also an 89 tick chart which is on ONE Screen. Usually need to scroll back many many pages

How can this be solved?

Thanks

Hi, fellow user here. I could be wrong but based on the symbol it looks like you’re using a 3rd party data feed, rather then SC’s own historical data feed. Change you’re “Data/Trade Service” to “SC Data - All Services”, click yes to translate symbols on charts and try again. Docs here: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service

Regarding CQG historical data, refer to the notes for version 2351 here:

Thanks

I have 2 accounts with AMP. I'm running 1 instance of SC on 1 computer with 1 acct, and a 2nd instance of SC on a 2nd computer with the other account.

If I switch to Denali....will I just have to pay 1 fee to Sierra to still do this? I know I have to pay for 2 exchange fees.

If can can please point me to exactly what I need to do to make the switch? Including what AMP needs to do?

Thanks,

Hello,

I installed a 2nd copy of SC. It's on the D Drive. Other one is on C Drive.

When I copy data file chart files to the newly installed once on D (inot the Data folder of course)
They don't show up when I try and open that copied chart file..

also, don't know if this means anything, but the Sample SC files are in "Blue", and mine are in black.

In this particular case, I can't open the MNQ 89 Pullback file.

Thanks

I should have also shown this image as well. I can't even open a new MNW chart. MNQ is missing from the file list.

Thanks again

If you want to use CME data on two different computers at the same time you need to pay two exchange fees. You can use one computer and run two installations of Sierra Chart and that is recommended. Refer to:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time

You need to follow the instructions here to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

And then you contact your broker AMP and tell them to cancel all market data exchange fees. You do not pay them for market data anymore. You just pay the exchange fees once.

Hello,

I just made the switch To Denali. I have a couple of questions, please.

AMP said to keep the CQG connection for order routing. But I thought you said to switch to Teton?

So right now, I have the same CQG Web API setting in the current selected service list. Should I leave
it at that, or chance it to something else?

Also, I have TWO accounts at AMP. I selected the "Use 2 computers" option...paying 2 exchange fees. I want to make sure I"m set up and able to trade both accounts.

Thanks

If you are staying with AMP, then you would need to continue to use CQG for your order routing. AMP does not support the Teton Order Routing Service at this time.

We would recommend changing to a broker that supports the Teton Order Routing service. If you are interested, the list of brokers that supports this is at Step #2 at the following link:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions

So right now, I have the same CQG Web API setting in the current selected service list. Should I leave
it at that, or chance it to something else?

You would want to leave this as it is if you are staying with AMP.

Also, I have TWO accounts at AMP. I selected the "Use 2 computers" option...paying 2 exchange fees. I want to make sure I"m set up and able to trade both accounts.

Having two accounts at AMP does not mean you need to have the 2 Computer option for the exchanges. You only need to do the 2 computer option if you are using Sierra Chart from 2 different computers. If both accounts at AMP are accessible from the same CQG login, then you can trade them both from one Sierra Chart installation - refer to the information at the following link for how to select your trading account:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM)

Hello,

After switching to Denali data, yesterday....I'm getting data for all the exchanges on once computer, but on the 2nd computer (a different acct. if that matters), I'm only getting data for CME. I"m not able to access CBOT, NYMEX, etc.

Thanks

Did you need real-time data for those exchanges? If so activate the exchanges here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed

Or:

To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions.

Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services".

Press "OK"

And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service)

You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service.

Hello. It's already activated. My accts are at AMP, so have to use CQG routing if that makes any difference.

It's fine on one computer and that particular acct. But the 2nd computer i'm only getting CME exchange. I DO have 2 computers checked.

Thanks

You only have the CME exchange active (this is not the CME Group, just the CME Exchange). If you want to get data for all of the CME Group (without Market Depth) then you would want to activate the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for nonprofessional Trading accounts exchange at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges

If you are getting real-time data into your first computer for data from exchanges other than the CME, then that data would have to be coming from CQG and not from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. You can tell when the data is from Sierra Chart as you will see an [M] after the symbol name in the Chart Header. Refer to the information here:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings)
