Hi John and community,
I have accts w Apex, but I thought I'd try Lucid. I use Rithmic to connect to both, but use SC data. The issue I am too blond to resolve is how to have 2 live Rithmic Trader Pros on the pc connected to each firm. YES, I have created a full new SC login when the Lucid doms would sit. The roadblock is the data feed thru R T-Pro. On the internet, they talk about 'enabling plug-ins' on RT-Pro. I'm afraid to do anything to my established RT-Pro/Apex connect for fear of screwing it up - I warned you I am blond... If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it. John, I am trying, but this is a bit over my head!!!

Thank you all, KK

First, you cannot open 2 Rithmic R-Trader Pro at the same time, second, SierraChart doesn't support Rithmic "plug-in mode" so there is no need to run R-Trader Pro

So, despite what Google says, you are saying SC doesn't allow it? It appears others do, but just not SC? see attached.

as said SC doesn't support Rithmic plug-in mode, but as also said, if you get your data from Denali, you can use your Rithmic-connection just for order-routing, so there is no need to have R-Trader Pro open

The connection between Sierra Chart and Rithmic was written by (and owned by) Rithmic. It does NOT use the connectivity to R-Trader - it is different. As such, a single account cannot be connected to in multiple places due to how the connectivity was written by Rithmic. In other words, for account "Number1", you can not be connected to it in R-Trader and in Sierra Chart. One of them will not work (or maybe both, not sure right now). So make sure this is not the issue.

But, this has nothing to do with connecting one installation of Sierra Chart to an APEX account and another installation to a LUCID account. There is no reason to have an issue with this, apart from what we stated above.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Hello John,
Thanks mate for replying. So I now understand that Rithmic isn't needed to connect, so why isn't it working? I have a completely unique SC login, I have data flowing it appears with the green banner, I have the correct acct in the dom drop-down, BUT no data is filling dom. Nor if I call up a chart, will it update beyond the time it was opened. I did the 'translate symbols', which didn't work. I see it says not allowed in the log.

I sooooooooooooooo appreciate you mate, thanks. Karen

You have too many installations running on the same computer all trying to get data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. There is a limit of 3 separate installations getting data on the same computer. Refer to the following:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
