Lost my elaborate Tool Bar

I fell asleep and clicked on something that replaced my elaborate Custom Control Bar #1 to a Default Tool bar. How can I find and get back my Toolbar? Thank you. |

The first thing you want to check is that you actually have the toolbar displayed that was customized, and not some other toolbar. Then set the correct toolbar to display as you want. Otherwise, if the actual toolbar has been changed/reset. Then you can recover it by restoring your global configuration file (Sierra4.config) from a backup. I have always used only Customize Control Bar 1. It is the one that I somehow changed to the Default. I thought followed the instructions correctly but obviously did not, with these consequences: 1. All 27.Sierra4.config files are no longer in Backups, the earliest one is 31.Sierra4.config 2. In the Data folder there are two: 26.Sierra4.config and... Sierra4.config.new The Tool Bar is still the Default. I am afraid to do more damage. Thank you. |
