The Denali feed has high latency from Hong Kong. Disabling Denali resolves the issue. • API connections with IBKR work fine. • Overriding CME to ds45.sierracharts.com improves performance slightly, but it’s still slower than Rithmic or IBKR. Ping results: • ds45.sierracharts.com → 65 ms • ds01.sierracharts.com → >200 ms Not sure if this will be resolved while traveling in Hong Kong. If you need any test or analysis from HK, let me know. |

There were some issues last week with CME market data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, where the data was delayed at times. This is all resolved now. This may have been the reason for the problem. We see no issues with it at all. That one other user in this thread is now permanently banned off this board. We have no dispute with you at all. One thing we would recommend that you do, is try using port 443: Sierra Chart Server Settings: Always Use Port 443 For Real-time Data (Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> General) You really should have no trouble with connectivity to Japan from Hong Kong. We would have to suspect that you are using a Wi-Fi connection especially if you are traveling, and there may be port degradation/ blocking on nonstandard ports.
