Hello I have been testing version 2826 for a short while and noticed that something seems to occasionally go amiss with the window positioning when switching to maximized state and back again. I made two pictures to demonstrate the problem, both of the exact same chart. In the maximized image no region data line is visible, and the chart appears shifted upwards from the bottom edge of the window by approximately the thickness of the title bar. The not-maximized image only serves to demonstrate that the region data line is in fact visible when the chart is not maximized. Weirdly, this does not effect all charts equally, only some. It does not seem to apply to anything other than maximize, tile / tile as grid all position the charts correctlty. One other observation, a couple of times the min/max/close buttons seemed to have become non-responsive (minimizing/maximizing again from the menu corrected it). I should also add, the MDI Window Virtual Space is disabled and I am not running OpenGL at this time. Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-12-09 20:49:08

Being this is intermittent, hard to know the exact sequence of events causing it, but we have implemented a patch that hopefully resolves this. Not sure about the menu issue either but we put another patch for that which might help. In general the behavior must relate to incorrect window size coordinates from the operating system. Thinking about this more, the patch will make no difference. This is purely an operating system issue. Nothing can be trusted in the OS. We now have to find more workarounds. You say this: "and the chart appears shifted upwards from the bottom edge of the window by approximately the thickness of the title bar." Adjust the height of the title bar in the Sierra Chart Global Graphics Settings and see if you notice that this shift increases, proportional to those height changes when it happens. Never mind the question at post #3. It should not have any effect on the placement of the window.
