For the Current Session, use a "Volume Graph Period Type" of "One Period at End of Fixed Time Length".

For a New York Session profile, which we assume is different from your Session Times for the chart, you would need to use a "Volume Graph Period Type" of "One Period from Start Time to End Time".

Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Volume Graph Period Type

In the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study there is a subgraph for "Volume/Sec". You will find the description for this in this section:

@lion323, it might be a good idea to start a new post, your question is not related to OP's question.

You do not need to connect a brokerage account in order to get U.S. Equities data. The requirement of a brokerage account is only for the CME Group.

Sierra Chart has 3 options for U.S. Equities data. You will need to determine which option works best for you. Refer to the following:
US Stock/Equities Consolidated Tape Data Feed

Denali Exchange Data Feed: Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed Notes

Denali Exchange Data Feed: U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape with NASDAQ TotalView

To setup the exchange(s) you want follow these instructions:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges*

How can I compress the tick size on the DOM ?

What exactly do you mean by "compress the tick size on the DOM"? Are you referring to the actual price data, or the market depth data, or something else?

We are still not sure if you are referring to price levels or the Market Depth data.

For the Market Depth data, refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu)

And also be aware of the following:
Chart Settings: Apply Combine Increment in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu)

With regards to price levels, it depends on what you are displaying, but in relation to items that deal with volume data (such as Numbers Bars and Volume by Price profiles), refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu)

How can I automate opening range high and low as levels ?
[2025-12-26 21:58:43]
User708541 - Posts: 175
Lion323, you can use Study: High/Low for Time Period-Extended. Set the start time to the appropriate time, set the end time to, the start of the bar that closes at the end of the opening range.
Example, if you want the NY session, 15 minute opening range, and you are using 5 minute bars, set the start time to 9:30 and the end time to 9:40. Then on the Subgraphs tab, set the High and Low to the draw style you want. Stair Step works well in this case.

Why the end time to 9:40 when it’s a 15 min opening range ?

9:44:59 might work as well. Try 9:45:00 and see what happens.

Setting the End Time to 09:40 would work for what User708541 stated. This is because most of the studies in Sierra Chart are based on the bar data, not the underlying data that makes up the bar. So if you have 5 minute bars and you want a 15 minute opening range starting at 09:30, then if you set your start time to 09:30 and the end time to 09:40, you will get the data for the bars at 09:30, 09:35, and 09:40 (which takes you from 09:30 to 09:44:59), which is your 15 minute opening range.

It is best practice to just set your start times and end times for what you want, considering how bar set their opening time. Therefore, setting 09:30:00 for the start and 09:44:59 for the end is the best way to do this.
