In simulation mode, I am unable to edit or exit with the "x", unopened price positions with the mouse, sliding the stop losses between prices. The same with open positions. The positions are un-editable. The only way to edit the position is to cancel all in the trade window. I have cleared the data log cache, but this has not helped.

What exactly occurs when you select the 'X' for a working order? Does the "x" highlight when you move your mouse over it and before you select it?

After you try to select the "X" open the "Message Log" and "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and see if there is anything in either of those logs related to why a working order was not closed. Post anything to here that may relate to this so we can take a look.

The "x" does not highlight on mouseover on the open, s/l high and s/l low. The positions are activated, but are not user closed, apart from cancel all or flatten or reverse.

On selecting trade service log, there is no window with data.

Thank you and kind regards,

Paul

Please get us an image of your chart with the Position and Working Orders showing on the chart. Follow these instructions to get us an image:

With regards to the Trade Service Log, there was an issue with a few releases where the information is not showing in it. Please update to the latest Pre-Release to fix this. Follow these instructions to update:
Software Download: Fast Update

If, by some chance, the window stays empty, then select "Global Settings >> Message Categories" and set all the options in there to "Yes". Refer to the following:

Unfortunately, there is nothing unusual in the Trade Service Log, so that does not tell us anything.

The orders seem perfectly normal in your chart. If you click on the "0" for the quantity in either of the working order lines, do you get a window open that allows you to change the quantity and price? You can enter a value in this window, but it will not actually change the quantity, since that will be set once the parent order fills. But you should get the window, which at least tells us that the action is being done.

The whole area is uneditable, the "x" and the "0" and the lines cannot be highlighted and moved up or down the chart.

Is this the same chart on which the orders were placed? Or is this a different chart?

Thank you, normality has been restored. My DoM values disappeared, but a restart brought them back. I had to restart twic e though.

Thank you again.

Kind regards,

Paul
