Hi Sierra Team, I sent additional EUR funds to my broker AMP, and I can already see the updated amount on the AMP platform. In Sierra, I am currently using Package 5. When I check: Trade > Trade Account Monitor / Balances Window, the amount has not been updated there. a) Do I need to wait a little longer? b) Could this be due to using Package 5 instead of Package 11? c) Might there be another reason? My base currency is USD, but in Trade > Trade Account Monitor / Balances Window I can see the total including EUR — except for this most recent deposit. Thank you for enlightening me. |

We can only answer this: b) Could this be due to using Package 5 instead of Package 11?
This would not be a reason. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. OK. If I am logged in to SC Data - All Services [data], then how does Sierra know my current AMP balance in the Trade > Trade Account Monitor / Balances Window? Because I am not logged in to CQG WebAPI with my username and password. To be exact, my AMP username and password are stored in Sierra, but this service CQG WebAPI is not selected while I am using Package 5. Thank you. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-05-02 12:12:04

Our original thought was that you were using Teton for your order routing with AMP, which would be the only way a connection could be made since you are on Package 5. But we see that your "Verified Until" date is "2024-12-04", so you have not connected to your live account since November 2024. In this case, the balance you are seeing is old and has not been updated since you have not connected.

Yes, back in November 2024, I was using Teton while on Package 11 with CME Market Data. If Package 5 is not an issue, does that mean Teton routing requires CME Market Data to be enabled? Thanks. |

In the end, the package is at least part of the problem. You need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages in order to properly connect to a trading service - including the Teton Order Routing service. We are not certain what you are wanting to do at this time. Can you give us some information, so we can help you with the particular issue, as we think we have answered the question regarding the account balance. Sure. I think I’m good now with your explanation. The reason I’m on Package 5 is that I’m currently using SIM mode, so I didn’t need Teton or CME Market Data, or this type of integrated package. It has served my needs so far. What I’m planning to do is top up my account with AMP. I sent a few euros as a test deposit, expecting it to also show up in Sierra. I was a bit hesitant to send more because the balance was out of sync between Sierra and the AMP statement. Now I think we understand why this happened. So I’ll go ahead and top up, and once I’m ready to switch to live trading, I’ll upgrade to Package 11 and also purchase CME Market Data. Hopefully, that will resolve the balance sync issue between Sierra and AMP. Thank you for following up. |
