please help. unable to use rithmic data on sierra chart.

I am getting this message on a popup. "connection error message from service: rithmic direct - DTC / logon error received from server: permission denied" I recently payed for thenthly exchange fee and I connected to my funded interactive broker account on sierra chart. I don't know what else I have to do to be able to trade with the rithmic data. |

Hey John. It's not helping. I am getting the same issues. I am doing my best to follow the instructions. I read on previous help request that any questions regarding connections issue with rhithmic gets the same answer with the same link. This in not helping any users. Or giving me any clues to solve my problems. It would have been better to try to tackle the problem by myself. I need more flexibility here. Otherwise I am going to be locked out of my rythmic trading account for who know how long :(.

All of the information we have on the "Permission Denied" error is in the documentation at that link. There is nothing further we can add to what is there, as we have dumped everything we know in there, and even a few items from customers that we aren't sure will help or not. Also, the interface between Sierra Chart and Rithmic was written by Rithmic. We have no control over any part of it. Hi John, I am getting the same error message. I contacted Apex trader, and they mentioned that my account shows "Active" from their end so it's all good. Can you please help me. I have performed all the steps that you mentioned in this thread already but no luck. I also tried to select "SC Data - All Services" to see if I am getting real time data, but with that option I am getting delayed data. Appreciate your time and help. One of the problems you have is that you have activated the "CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts", but you have not connected your Sierra Chart software to your live, funded, futures trading account, therefore your "Verified Until" date is expired, as it is currently showing as "2024-09-02". Refer to the following for more information on the CME Group Non-Professional requirement: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Follow these instructions to connect to your live trading account at least once a month: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees You can view the "Verified Until" date for your account at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges Once you have taken care of the above, then another option that might resolve the "Permission Denied" error is to remove the entries for the Username and Password for the Rithmic data on the "Data/Trade Service Settings" page. Apart from this, there is no additional information we have on how to resolve the "Permission Denied" error. Again, that error is coming from Rithmic and they wrote the interface to Sierra Chart, so they are the only ones that can "fix" this. We have told them multiple times about this but they have not done anything. Thank you so much for responding to my request, I have performed following steps " to access the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and/or COMEX real-time data from one of the Sierra Chart Data Feeds at the reduced fees, it is necessary to set the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service in Sierra Chart to use one of the supported futures Trading services or just connect for 10 seconds once a month then back to SC Data-All Services (or the service for your Simulated trading account)." I have been using sierra chart since last 2 years and I have been following above approach once a month to quality as a non professional trader. I tried to do the same day before yesterday and since then I have not been able to get real time data. Can you please let me know what are the next steps and what could be the problem so I fix it for myself.
