When using the draw vol profile tool, when the vpoc line is drawn, it's difficult to distinguish the distribution of bid/ask vol because the line is drawn ontop of the vol profile (example attached). I've played around with the ticks per bar, and used a variety of line drawing styles/weights, and not sure if there is another setting to achieve what I'm after. Currently, I have it set to show dominant bid (orange)/ask(blue) along with the vpoc line. Say, for example, at the vpoc... the ask was the dominant volume (60% ask vol vs 40% bid vol). I'd like for the vpoc to take a color based on which was the dominant volume (white (dominant bid) vs pink (dominant ask)). Is there a way to do this? Alternatively, if this could be set to be drawn behind the vol profile, that might solve the problem too. however, that would only work for the scenarios when the vpoc is within the current chart view. |

Highlighting the POC in the profile is going to always color the bar that represents the POC as the color of the POC. There is not an option to have it colored based on the Bid/Ask coloring. But, you can have the POC line not drawn in the profile, but just get the extension line. To do this, set the Input for "Highlight Point of Control" to "No" and then set the Input for "Extend Point of Control" to the setting you want. Thanks for the response. That's how I have had it set Highlight "No" and Extend Until Future Intersection. The POC Draw Style as Line (Dot). The POC extends as expected, but it is drawing on top of the vol profile.

What do you mean it is drawing on top of the volume profile? We would need to see an image of what you are seeing by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Attaching or Posting a Screenshot/Image (Optional) Note that the image in your first post is too small for us to see anything, that is why you need to follow the instructions given above.
