Hello , How to limit the amount of downloaded data for the charts? So far I go to chart settings, choose the limiting method :days to load, choose 2 days, choose intraday chart. It still goes back to December. How to do it the right way? |

It depends on exactly what you are wanting. When you first open a chart for a symbol for which you do not already have any existing data, then the amount of data that downloaded is controlled by the settings for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Maximum Intraday Days to Download". Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings) Once the data is loaded, the number of days of data that is actually displayed in the chart is controlled by either the "Days to Load" or the "Date Range From/To" depending on your setting for "Load Data Limiting Method". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Data Limiting The above being said, when you first open a chart for a new symbol, the initial amount of data that is set in the "Maximum Intraday Days to Download" is what is actually loaded in the chart regardless of your setting in the Chart Settings. To then update to the actual value in the Chart Settings select "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate". I activated the Denali data feed. I want to use Denali for data and place trades on apex account, which uses rithmic. What should I choose in Global Settings > Data/Trade Services: Rithmic, Teton, SD Data - All Services? Please advise. |

You need to connect to "Rithmic". Follow these instructions: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions And do not forget that you need to connect to your live, funded, futures trading account at least once a month to verify your non-professional standing for the CME Group data. You can view your "Verified Until" date for this (which needs to be in the future) at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
