It depends on exactly what you are wanting.

When you first open a chart for a symbol for which you do not already have any existing data, then the amount of data that downloaded is controlled by the settings for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Maximum Intraday Days to Download". Refer to the following:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings)

Once the data is loaded, the number of days of data that is actually displayed in the chart is controlled by either the "Days to Load" or the "Date Range From/To" depending on your setting for "Load Data Limiting Method". Refer to the following:

The above being said, when you first open a chart for a new symbol, the initial amount of data that is set in the "Maximum Intraday Days to Download" is what is actually loaded in the chart regardless of your setting in the Chart Settings. To then update to the actual value in the Chart Settings select "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate".
