I am receiving this error when my alert went off. I'm not sure why. FWIW I have a few different instances of Sierra running with the chat window open.

Also I have 2 group chats. And for some reason (not sure how to recreate this), when I edited the second group, it got renamed the name of the first group.

I'm also not able to get telegram notifications working even though I have Relay to Telegram set to Yes.

Running 2627, please advise, thanks

Go to the chat window: File >> Open Chat Window.

Go through each chat in the list on the left, and when you select the chat, on the top of the list of messages for the selected chat, will be the chat number. Is any of them 99?

We want you to update to the latest version:

In the Sierra Chart installation folder there is a folder named /ChatDataHistory. When Sierra Chart is not running, delete that folder. And then start Sierra Chart again.

Yes. The second chat from the top has Chat ID: 99

I will follow your other steps and let you know if I see any difference. Thanks

If you still get the error,, select chat 99 and then go to Commands >> Edit Chat.

Is Is Admin set to Yes, and are you in the list of Group Members?

I did what you said in your first reply and it didn't fix. FWIW deleting that folder did not clear the messages i was seeing in the chat. But could it be that I had other instances open?
I don't see an option for Is Admin.

Also separately when I try to create a "New Chat" I don't see an option/field to name it so when i click ok it says the name is not long enough...

I tried attaching shot of settings window since i wasn't sure if the builtin screenshot feature would work. Sorry if this is not protocol.

I may try to create a new group chat. But wanted to get your take on what might be happening first.

Just to update creating a new group chat within my current instance works fine.

Maybe it has to do with having created the group chat in a different instance (but still same user), that is causing some issues?

Are you still having this problem?

If so we need to do a remote assistance call to look into this.

No this is definitely not an issue. We do this all the time:

You cannot name a peer to peer (user to user) chat as we call them:

You can only give a name to a Group Chat. The name must be at least five characters.
