Can you create or add a symbol of Hong Kong hang sang index for interactive brokers so that i can recieve the data from IB and plot charts. The symbol in IB is HSI index. Thanks

This is already in the system. Open the section for Futures on the Find Symbol window and there is an entry for the HSI. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

John, thanks for the reply. what i mean is the Hang Sang cash index itself,not the future monthly contract. For example you have spx-ind-cboe for s&p 500 cash index and you have a separate symbol es-xxxxxx-cme for s&p 500 future. what i need is the symbol of the Hang Sang cash index for IB not the monthly future HSI-xxxxxx-HKFE Thanks

So, can you create a Hang Sang cash index symbol for IB? i see that you have many indexes symbols for different international markets under the IB indexes section but i can't find the Hang Sang cash index for Hong Kong.The IB Hang Sang Stock Index symbol is HSI index. Thanks

We do not have data for that index. If IB has the data, then you would need to enter their symbol to get the data. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

IB has the data,but i need the correct symbol name on your side in order to create a chart on SC and plot the data on the chart. For example, i have the SC symbol name HSI-202301-HKFE on your side and i created a SC chart with that name then all the data are plotted on that chart once i pressed the command "connect to data feed". But, with Hang Heng cash index,i don't have a SC symbol name to receive IB data. i tried HSI-IND-HSFE and HSI-CASH-HKFE and HSI-HKFE. They all don't work. I need a correct SC symbol name to recieve the IB data. Please help. Thanks
