Are Rithmic Bracket Orders Server Side When Executed Through SC?

Question:

If I execute a bracket order (entry + target + stop) using Sierra Chart's Trade Window, are those orders held on Rithmic's servers?

I know that your documentation says they are not but when a bracket order is placed in the Rithmic DOM (which are server side), the bracket shows up in SC (when Show Orders and Positions is checked).

Then, if those orders are changed by dragging them up or down on the chart, the orders are also updated in the Rithmic DOM.

How is that possible if the adjustments in SC have no connection to the server side brackets?

The orders are certainly held on the Rithmic server after the parent order fills and you can definitely modify them.

If the bracket order originated from Sierra Chart, then the OCO functionality is provided within Sierra Chart.

So, if I understand you correctly, if brackets originate from the Trade Window, they are NOT held server side?

If that's the case, is that functionality being implemented so that one can execute server side brackets through SC?

Yes.

Not with Rithmic. We do not foresee that. For two reasons. Rithmic uses an API component and we do not support API components any longer. So we will not do any further development with Rithmic.

Secondly, although Rithmic has server-side OCO, it is only available in a higher-priced API. The billing arrangement for it is unworkable for us.

Also, we do not even know whether Rithmic even supports server-side brackets.

This will not be supported with Rithmic.
