Does anyone know how to see a TPO chart within a specific date range when using interactive broker as the data feed. I am looking at the ICE exchange specifically. The only thing i can get is the current day and it is not working properly either. It seems I can't change from intraday to historic. I did not have a problem with this until connecting my IB account. Is there something specifically with this study I need to fix? Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-01-10 17:09:17

Although there may be differences/issues with the data, you should be able to setup a TPO chart as you want with the Interactive Brokers Data. Keep in mind, you can not create a TPO profile on Daily (historical) data. So if you are using Daily data, then that is the problem. Okay, sorry for the confusion. When i open up a chart it has to be a intraday chart and it can't be a daily chart? Sorry, I do not remember having any problems with the type of chart before. Also, I have tried to enter the Profile Time Period Length as 300 and Profile Time Period as daily, but i still only have TPO data for whenever SC was open and connected to IB. Additionally, when using intraday chart and load data limiting method i select use date range and no matter which date i use I cannot get anything long than an hour ago Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-01-10 18:06:22

When i open up a chart it has to be a intraday chart and it can't be a daily chart? To see the TPO profile, it has to be an Intraday Chart. Daily charts do not have the necessary information within them to generate a TPO profile. I have tried to enter the Profile Time Period Length as 300 and Profile Time Period as daily, but i still only have TPO data for whenever SC was open and connected to IB. You need to look at the data you have in the chart. If you do not have 300 days of data, then you can not get a TPO for 300 days of data. If this is a Futures contract you are looking at, then do you have it set to be a Continuous Futures Contract? If you are not able to get the data from Interactive Brokers, then we recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed for your data. You will not have any issues with this data. Download the IB TWS Latest Version 10.20.1g from the IB website and latest SC version. This should fix your IB real time data download issues. IB Intraday data is limited to 30 days. So you will not be able to download more than that from IB.

I have it set as an intraday chart If this is a Futures contract you are looking at, then do you have it set to be a Continuous Futures Contract? Yes. With all of the above, I can still only see today's TPO. When i switch over to NQ, it starts to build the TPO right away. If i switch back to Coffee it still only has the TPO of today. I do not see the ICE exchange on denali. What would be the cheapest option from SC to receive data that supports the ICE exchange. It is okay if it is delayed or historical... Additionally, when I open the examplechart book there is an ES TPO that works perfectly, but when i change to Coffee it comes back with the same problem Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-01-10 21:45:44

Download the IB TWS Latest Version 10.20.1g from the IB website and latest SC version. This should fix your IB real time data download issues. IB Intraday data is limited to 30 days. So you will not be able to download more than that from IB. Double checked and it is the up-to-date version

Sorry, but we do not have data for ICE. You will have to continue to get that data from Interactive Brokers. You will just have to accept that you can not get the data as far back as you want it for the ICE. You will just have to accept that you can not get the data as far back as you want it for the ICE. Yes i agree, but i should still be able to get more than on day of data. Is there any more assistance you can provide, or point me to some documentation. I know i have an intraday chart selected

Okay, so are you saying this is a data issue? When i go to the message window I see that it has downloaded the data, it seems SC is just not showing it because the date range will always default to the current date.

Attached is a screenshot of a TPO chart for ICE March 2023 Coffee KC-202303-NYBOT with IB intraday data (15 min delayed). I am running IB TWS offline Version 10.20.1f and SC Version 2457. I downloaded 30 days of IB intraday data without issue. Make sure you have the latest version of both SC and IB TWS. Make sure you have the latest version of both SC and IB TWS. I did not have the updated SC. Once i updated it it works perfectly. I can download as much data as I want. Not sure why above poster can only get 30 days... Thank you for the help!
