Symbol error for MBO data

I have Denali (SP12) + NASDAQ Totalview and trying to get MBO data for symbol CHPT . I've followed instructions for adding a custom symbol in global settings but still getting no MBO data and error message "invalid symbol". Either I'm doing something wrong or this symbol isn't available for MBO data because it's listed on NYSE? Basically wanting to know if MBO data is limited for equities that only trade on NASDAQ? Or should MBO data be available for equities listed on any exchange? I already understand the volume issue, just wanting to know specifically about MBO. |

Market by order data is available for all of the NASDAQ TotalView symbols. The symbol will be CHPT-NQTV

Thanks, and that's how I entered the symbol "CHPT-NQTV" but kept getting the invalid symbol error. So I must have entered something wrong in the custom symbol settings?

You should not have done anything with regards to the symbols. Did you enter a custom symbol for "CHPT-NQTV"? If so, then we are curious as to why. If you need a symbol for CHPT-NQTV due to some setting within the symbol that you want to have defaulted a certain way (such as the Tick Size or the Session Times) then make sure you duplicate another symbol that has the -NQTV on it and then update the particular settings you want to ensure that you do have all the correct settings for the new symbol. I added it as custom symbol to record market depth data to replay DOM and also to set MBO volume min. And I'm following you...I just followed that process and CHPT-NQTV is loading intraday data now. Thank you!
