Using Rithmic and Denali

I currently use Denali for sierra charts, with a funded brokerage account.
I am testing out a funding firm, and in order for me to be able to use sierra to execute trades, I need to connect rithmic trader to sierra charts. I am wondering if I can have two different data feeds or what is the best approach to achieve sierra running while being able to execute trades for the funding firm.

Thanks,

You will want to have two installations of Sierra Chart on the same computer. One installation for your regular trading account and the other for the funding firm. This way you can be connected to both at the same time.

In doing it this way you will be able to get the Denali data to both installations and it will not cost anything additional.

Refer to the following for how install a second Sierra Chart:

And refer to the information on multiple connections for the Denali data:

I have a similar question. I simply want to use the Denali data for the evaluation accounts. I followed the instructions and setup an account with Stage 5. How do I use Denali Data, but actually execute trades with the Rithmic account for the trade evaluation? When I connect to Denali, I only see Stage 5 account in the DOM and not Rithmic account.

I got lost somewhere.

If you are using Stage 5 to just verify your non-professional standing, then you just need to connect to that Stage 5 account once a month to make the verification. To do this, you will follow the instructions at the following link:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

Otherwise, you will keep your Data/Trade Service Settings set to your Evaluation account (typically Rithmic). Therefore, you would follow these instructions to connect to your Rithmic account:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

Keep in mind that Sierra Chart is setup so that you can get the data from us regardless of what Trading Service you are using.

"Keep in mind that Sierra Chart is setup so that you can get the data from us regardless of what Trading Service you are using."

How do I set this up? So that the data is the Denali feed but my order routing is through Rithmic/APEX ? Currently in order to connect to the Denali feed I am selecting Teton Order Routing service but I can only see my personal account. In order to see and trade the APEX account I have to select Rithmic Direct service which changes the data feed.

I want to be able to execute off of the DOM being fed Denali data but the order is traded on the Apex / Rithmic account. Is this possible?

When configuring the Data/Trade services, only configure your APEX account for the trade username/password. Leave the market data and historical data sections empty.

This is not a correct interpretation. In general, if you are setup to get data from us (Sierra Chart) then you will be getting the data from us regardless of what your "Current Selected Service" is set to. The only way that this is not true is if the option for "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" is set to "No". Refer to the following:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services

With regards to the Market Data fields for the Rithmic setup, you do not NEED to keep those fields blank in order to get the data from us. But we do recommend it, only because Rithmic has a "Permission Denied" issue that can come up when you fill in those fields, so if you do not need the data from Rithmic, then it is best to keep those blank.

I tried this but then the data stopped feeding.

The title bars of my charts say Rithmic Direct - DTC and the symbol has a [C] after it not the [M].

Do I need to have two instances of Sierra running? Again, my goal is to use Denali Data feed but have the orders executed to Rithmic / Apex funded account, NOT my personal brokerage.

You have not activated any exchanges for the Denali Exchange Data Feed, therefore you are not getting the data from us yet. We see you have filled out the exchange agreements for the CME Group, therefore you can activate the CME Group exchange(s) for which you want real-time data, at the following link:

If you do not mind us asking - we are curious as to how you knew to fill out the agreements for the CME Group, but did not activate any exchanges. Were you following the instructions on our Denali Exchange Data Feed page, or did you get this information elsewhere?

We see this a lot and we are trying to figure out why it occurs so we can make a change to prevent it in the future.

Thanks, activating the exchange fixed the problem.

I did not get the information elsewhere. I must have deactivated the exchange without reactivating it.

Looking at your transactions, we do see that you had exchanges active previously, but you deactivated them on June 14, 2023. You would have continued to get the real-time data through the end of June, and then it would stop on July 1.

Thank you for letting us know.
