Hi SC, I have been using service package 5 with CQG data feed for the last 5 years. It is set to renew on 26 October 2022. Due to the new changes being implemented in data feed connectivity, I have decided to subscribe to service package 11, so I can still use my CQG data feed. I have updated my subscription today, However I cannot connect to my CQG data feed (Crude oil, NYMEX). I haven't had any issues with connections in the past Is this because my renewal package 11 does not start until 26th October and after this date, I should be fine with using my CQG data feed? Regards T |

Market data needs to come from the Denali Data Feed when using CQG, in newer versions of Sierra Chart. So you need to complete the agreements here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements And then you need to activate the exchange or exchanges you need here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed You can then cancel CQG market data exchange fees that you pay through your broker since you will not need them. Thankyou for the reply. Maybe Im reading this wrong but on your service package page, it says that with packages 10 or above you can connect to external connectivity. I am now on package 11 but cant get real time data when connecting to CQGWebAPI (I do have green connectivity box). I get the message "Real time market data only supported with Sierra chart data feed". Below is from your service package page "The Integrated Sierra Chart with Advanced Features Service Package includes external connectivity along with the same features as the Integrated Standard Sierra Chart Service Package (Package 10) with the following Advanced features" |

Yes you are able to connect to CQG but the market data must come from Sierra Chart. And you need to do these steps: So you need to complete the agreements here:

Thanks, I am in the process of completing the agreements. I just have 2 questions. With regards to Non professional CME certification, its asks for Trading Account Number. I have an account with Amp futures. Would I need to input my Amp futures trading account number in or my sierra charts account number? Also with regards to my Amp futures Trading account number, under my credentials page it states the following "These login credentials are confidential and are for your exclusive use only. If we receive notice of a breach of confidentiality of these credentials, whether intentional or unintentional, your account will be disabled. Please do not share these login credentials with anyone" I am a bit concerned if I put in my Amp futures trading account number, my account may become disabled. |

Your AMP account number. I am a bit concerned if I put in my Amp futures trading account number, my account may become disabled.
It will not. This is required for the CME Group and AMP understands this. Additionally, this is your trading account number, which is different from the credentials you use to login to your CQG account. Thankyou for you patience in answering my questions. I am fully connected now. I plan to contact my broker to deactivate my CQG CME data feed. Before I do this I have noticed that under my Data/Trade Service Settings my current Selected Service (List) is CQG Web API (trading). I take it this has nothing to do with my CQG CME data feed and if I disconnect the data feed via my broker, Sierra charts can still verify that I have a funded account and can still receive non-professional CME data? |

It is not a problem to stop the data from CQG. You will still be trading with CQG and connecting to that account while getting the Denali data from us. This is enough to verify your non-professional status for the data.
