Apex evaluation for Sierra users with personal funded accounts

Hello, I am having some problems finding out how I should go about setting up myself to do an evaluation from apex. I have a live account of my own I’ve been trading for over a year and would like to use all of my chart books as well as take advantage of Sierra’s trade copying feature you guys recently released. What I need to know is can I use my Denali data feed to do this evaluation and how so if possible? I have an apex evaluation accnt and setup the rithmic side already. Regards |

We see you are already setup to get the CME Group data from our Denali Exchange Data feed. As such, you can use the Denali data with the Apex account. If the Apex Evaluation account is available through the same Rithmic login that you use for your personal account, then you would just use the one installation of Sierra Chart and you would nee to change your selected Trading Account as needed. This setup will also allow you to use the "Order Allocation to Trade Accounts Feature". Refer to the instructions here for selecting a trading account: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) And refer to the information at the following link for the Order Allocation to Trade Accounts feature: Order Allocation to Trade Accounts -- If, on the other hand, your personal account and your Apex Evaluation account use two different logins (which is what we expect), even if they are both with Rithmic. Then you will want to install a second Sierra Chart installation, such that you have one installation for your personal trading account and the other installation for the Apex trading account. Refer to the following information for installing an additional Sierra Chart: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart You can use the Denali Exchange Data Feed to both of these installations at the same time without any issue or additional cost. Just make sure the installations are on the same computer. If you use multiple computers, then you would have to pay the exchange fee twice. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections The only issue with this setup is that you can not use the "Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" feature. This only works when the accounts are available through the same trading service login. It is not a matter of Evaluation accounts, it is a matter of installations of Sierra Chart. You can have a total of 3 installations on a single computer that are connected at the same time to the Denali Exchange Data Feed. These are completely independent installations, not sub-instances that are started with File >> New Instance (those work differently). But, you can also pay for a second Exchange Fee and then get up to 3 more connections on a second computer. Hi John, You mention "a total of 3 installations on a single computer that are connected at the same time to the Denali Exchange Data Feed". What would one have to pay to have Denali on 5 different installations (5 different SC instances with different logins and order routing) on the same computer ? Thanks, JM |

Unfortunately the exchanges do not allow for more than 3 on a single computer with the Non-Professional exchange options. We will have to check on the Professional options and whether that is something that might work for you. We will respond back tomorrow when we have had a chance to look into the rules for the Professional exchange options. It turns out that the Professional exchange options are worse, so that is not an option. Therefore, we are limited in what we can do due to the exchange rules.
