SC Platform downloading historical data for hours

Every week or so, my SC platform will not function for 3-4 hours while it shows it is Downloading Historical Data. I have disabled firewall and virus scanning for SC and for the files being downloaded. I have adjusted the few symbols I am watching so that large amounts of intraday data is not being requested. The data downloads in 1 minute intervals, then the data connection drops and re-establishes, and then data downloading resumes, until finally all of this finishes 4 hours later. How do I fix this?

This is too little of a time for there to be a reconnection.

We think the problem is your Sierra Chart installation is under too much of a heavy processing load.

We will look into how to resolve this reconnection issue which should not be happening but definitely follow the information here to reduce the processing load:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

We do not see any unusual time to download historical data.

Symbol Error - F.US.MESM20 is unknown, unavailable, or improperly formatted. Market data request not allowed.

For this, you can try selecting Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service to change the symbol name. If this does not work, then you will need to look for where this symbol is being used and update it manually.

This issue:

which we think is related to a high processing load, will be prevented in the next release coming out before morning.

There should not be a lost connection when there is no activity for 15 seconds. It should be more like 40 seconds to 60 seconds.
