Delayed data (funded program with data from Rithmic)

I'm on funded program using Rithmic data.
I read through the message boards and found that I need to connect SC to my own personal futures account once a month to activate real-time data. I've paid for Package 11 and top of book.

2 questions:

a) So all I am left to do, is use my own personal futures account (with Edgeclear) and use their Teton service to log into Sierrachart once a month to prove that I'm non-professional?

b) Do I still have to pay the non-professional top of book fee to trade or can I just use my funded program's Rithmic? I understand I would still need to pay for the monthly package 11.

a) Correct

b) You can use the Rithmic data, but we highly recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead. For the reason why, refer to the following:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Rithmic Market Data and Support Policy

If you are going to use the data from Rithmic, then there is not a need to connect to your personal trading account once a month. That is only required if you are going to get the CME Group data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Wait, sorry I'm even more confused about b) now.

I am currently on a funded program using Rithmic. So there is no need to connect to my personal trading account?
But I'm receiving a red notice on my account control panel that I need to do this step, plus my chart is showing delayed data.

Ive included a screenshot. Do I have to switch this off in order to use my funded program's Live Rithmic?

I just want to trade and all these configurations are just so confusing.

The reason you are getting the notice about activating an exchange is because you are on Package 11, which you need to be in order to connect to Rithmic. So you can ignore that message.

You can use either Rithmic data or our Denali data. It is up to you, but as we noted above, with the Rithmic data, you will have limited historical data. Again, refer to the following:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Rithmic Market Data and Support Policy

If you want to use the Rithmic data, then you should already be getting it, as long as you are connected properly to your Rithmic account. If you have not already done so, then go through the setup instructions for Rithmic at the following link:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

If you are not getting real-time data from Rithmic after that, then let us know.

Or, if you want to use the Denali Data instead, then let us know as well and we'll direct you from there.

You do not need to worry about the setting for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds. It is best to leave that as Yes unless you have a special circumstance, which you do not.

When you say your denali data feed, I thought its what I've already purchased? The top of book CME $1.25? I've included a screen shot.

However, when I have Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds switched to Yes, I get delayed data.
If I switch it off, I get live data. I'm thoroughly confused.
Thank you for staying so far.

In looking back, we noticed that you stated that you have an account with Edge Clear using the Teton Order Routing Service. Our servers are not showing that you have connected to that account yet. Are you using the same Sierra Chart account as you are posting from for this thread?

You should just have the one account. As such, if you are going to use Sierra Chart for 2 different trading services (Edge Clear for personal trading and the funding program with Rithmic) then you would want to have 2 installations of Sierra Chart to be able to connect each installation to each of the trading services. As long as these installations are on the same computer then you will not need to worry about any additional fees related to data. Refer to the following for how to install another Sierra Chart:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time

Now, that being stated we really need to get your Teton Order Routing connection setup first. This will resolve your Denali data issue.

In order to setup the connection to your account using the Teton Order Routing Service you need to follow the instructions starting at Step #6 here:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions

Let us know if you have any questions on the above, or if not, then let us know when you have that all setup and then we can work through the Rithmic connection.

Yes I have an account with Edgeclear with this pitbull username, but its dormant and they are asking more funds transfer in to agree to activate Teton for me. I will give it a pass as I've moved on to funded program trading and doesn't make sense to have thousands of dollars in a dormant account.

Can you confirm the EASY solution provided by opening an account with Stage5 or AMP futures, and connect once a month, will solve the delayed data issue? Then I can continue to use the funded program's Rithmic data to trade with no delays?

Your support thus far is greatly appreciated.

Okay after some experimenting, I've come to the conclusion.

Since I'm on a funded program using Rithmic, I have no need to purchase CME Top of Book from SC services activation. The funded program's Rithmic is taking care of that.
However, because of how sh1tty Rithmic handles historicals, SC stopped supporting it, which means I can't load TPOs/volume profiles with full data for the previous sessions. Yes I know how Rithmic servers handles data support and I also have many problems with it on Motivewave.

Which is why I STILL need to buy the CME Top of Book from SC to get historical support, although I will get delayed data cause I have not proven myself to be non-professional.
So this is my plan, hope you can advise.

1. Open an account with AMP/Stage5. Activate their routing service. I understand Stage5 has Teton and AMP does not but their CQG routing is still supported?
2. Log in to SC using that new account once a month, thereby proving myself to be non-professional.
3. SC activates real-time top of book data.
4. Connect Data/Trade Service Settings to Rithmnic DTC by using funded program credentials.
5. SC will then push live data feed to my charts and my trades will be executed via funded program's Rithmic.

Are these the correct connection set ups to enable me to trade with non-delayed data?
Apologies it has been a difficult uphill task to grasp connections on SC.

A separate question: I plan to purchase depth of market, but I only need to buy it from SC right? I don't have to on my funded program?

You have everything, but one small item, correct. We know it's a pain, but unfortunately these are the rules that the CME Group has put out, along with the data from Rithmic. We just do the best we can.

The only item you do not have correct is that you mention activating the "Top of Book", but then you also mention the need for Market Depth. If you need Market Depth data, then you will need to activate the CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts.

Hi,
Few more questions if you can oblige.

1. I see there is a discount for buying SC package in bulk of >3 months. Does the market depth also provide a discount when buying in bulk?

2a. I need live stocks data with TPO VP enabled. Do I just buy the NASDAQ feed since I already have package 11? What about the stocks listed on NYSE?

2b. As my stocks account is with Tdameritrade and SC does not support it, is there still a need to login once a month in some broker that is supported by SC's connection?

1. The exchange fees are not available to be bought in multiple months. Even if we did, they would not be discounted, as the exchanges do not offer this option.

2. The NASDAQ TotalView exchange includes data for NYSE stocks.

3. The NASDAQ TotalView exchange does not have a requirement to login to a live account. That is only a CME Group requirement.
