Hi Ray: I hope you are well.
I started receiving delayed data last night. My trade data service setting is already set to "all services" as per the technical note. Please advise.

The reason you are not getting real-time data from the CME Group of exchanges is that you activated the Non-Professional exchange fees, but you have not verified in the last month that you have a live, funded, futures trading account, which the CME needs in order to allow you data at the lower priced fees.

Refer to the following for instructions on how to connect once a month to your *live funded* trading account to qualify for the lower-priced exchange fees:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

If you do not have a funded trading account or one with a supported trading service, then refer to this solution:
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

Consider the above solution to avoid this problem in the future.

The solution failed because the server would not connect to transact trading. Is there a fix for the connectivity issue?

...the solution worked from another computer so far. Thanks

So you have an account with Transact? Therefore, use Sierra Chart version 2353 or earlier to connect Transact.:

I installed previous version. I followed the verification procedure. The data is still delayed. By the way, there was no selection for transact trading in the dropdown menu for trade/date services. I tried Trading Evaluator and Transact data. What now?

The data is still delayed.

You must not have connected to Transact in in version 2353 or earlier.

And Transact WS is absolutely listed in all versions. Refer to the attachment. In versions 2353 or earlier, you will see [trading] after the name "Transact WS".

That is correct Transact WS/data is listed but not trading. I connected to WS/data and it did not work. There is no reference to trading in that drop down menu. Is there another version to be used?

Right but for the Trading connection you need to use an earlier version 2353 or earlier.

We recommend that you install another installation of Sierra Chart just for this purpose of connecting to Transact once a month:

The proposed second copy of Sierra charts will not install into a new program file. Do you know the reason? Also, is there another way to verify the account, maybe through Transact? I sent the log from the failed installation.

I now have 2 versions of SC. Version 2335 at least has the right dropdown selection but neither 2335 or the current version connect to Transact Trading. It seems like if I want to keep Sierra charts I have to change trading services. Please confirm this or let me know what I am doing wrong such that a connection cannot be established.

Yes!. This is always an ongoing frustration with Transact, connectivity issues. It is in no one's interest for us to be supporting Transact. We cannot solve transact connectivity issues. They are not within our control.

For now follow this recommended easy solution:

Dear Trader,

I am sorry to hear about the recent connection issues with TransAct. As a former Infinity Broker, I fully understand the trials and tribulations of changing brokerage firms and no longer being able to use the Transact AT. With that being said, Stage 5 takes great pride in helping Transact/Infinity traders transition as seamlessly as possible. Personally, I believe the best solution would be to switch to Sierra Teton Order Routing with Denali for real time and historical data. This is all maintained by Sierra directly, which I feel provides great benefits to traders as Sierra can focus on enhancements instead of maintenance of other third party order routing feeds. In addition, I feel it is the best overall quality and value for traders.

You can open an account for as little as $100 and you will receive $0.20 per side commissions on the micros and $0.45 commissions on non micros plus exchange and regulatory fees.

Please feel free to contact us and we will gladly assist you with any questions you may have and/or the process of transitioning your account and hopefully helping you improve your current trading solution. We would be able to provide some DOM chartbook layouts that will hopefully be more in line with what you are accustomed to. In addition, we would be more than happy to have a remote session to help get you setup with the new layouts.
