I wanna trade the MES options so I set my data services to "SC all data services" and after finding the MES futures contract and selected "find options" i couldn easily get the options data and copy them straight from the clipboard to the spreadsheet and then to the Dom. The problem begins when start to hit the buy button as the trading mode suddenly switches from my trading account to the [SIM mode} mode. I tried to switch the data services and connect to interactive brokers instead but now i cant get the options data period. I have denali package 11 with nasdaq top of the book activated plus all CME data activated. Am i missing any thing? PS- I enabled the "allow support for SC data feed" from the Data services menu and im receiving live data but the problem is whenever i try to trade the ES or MES options it constantly switches the live acccount to the SIM trading mode even when i disable the SIM trading mode. |

We do not understand why you would have to do this. You should not have to do anything like this: " i couldn easily get the options data and copy them straight from the clipboard to the spreadsheet and then to the Dom.
You simply select the options symbol in the list of available symbols, and then press the Open Trading DOM button on the Find Symbol window. The problem begins when start to hit the buy button as the trading mode suddenly switches from my trading account to the [SIM mode} mode You need to follow the instructions here:Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services To do what you want, follow through the instructions here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Futures Options Data with Other Trading Services Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. When you are connected to Interactive Brokers you should have entries in the Find Symbols page for Futures Options. You need to open the section you want and select the appropriate instrument and then select the button for Get Options. What you show in your images is that you are selecting the section for a Spread, not an Option.
