[Locked] - Illegitimate Postings on Sierra Chart Support Board

We are aware of certain types of support board posts we are now beginning to see every couple of days. These are posts, from a trial account, or an expired trial account that has never logged into Sierra Chart. They are postings, that are not really asking for help, but making a comment about prior posts in a particular thread. Sometimes they link to another website for the purpose of advertising that site. Sometimes they use a deceptive technique, to talk about content of the thread, and then link to another thread, for the purpose of advertising. These postings can be deceptive. One way to detect they are illegitimate is because they are not asking us a question. They are just making a comment about prior posts. And they are from a not paid account, and the post count is 1 or very low for the user and they are jumping into an old thread. Sometimes they say that they have a similar problem to the users in the thread. This is to mislead us. We will delete these posts, ban the user off the board, and locked the thread. All three will be done! These posts are deceptive and not necessarily easy to spot. However, we will recognize them. We have also noticed that sometimes users, fall into the trap, of not recognizing these posts, and respond to them. Do not respond to them. There also seems to be a technique, maybe from competition, where they are jumping into a thread where perhaps the subject line maybe is something that gets attention, and they want to, indirectly create a negative view of Sierra Chart based upon a subject line of the thread, and cause it to move to the top of the board by posting something irrelevant into it. Seems like since we have posted this, we have noticed a 90% drop in these types of postings.

This is an example of an illegitimate posting we saw on the board just now: "Please share the answer so that I can also cope with such a problem ". The user never logged into Sierra Chart, it is a trial account, and is a nonsensical posting. You see how they are deceiving. The thread was locked, and the user banned off the board. This posting came from New South Wales Australia. Leading the world into global tyranny. That does not mean, that the tyrants in Australia, are the leadership in the world for this, but is it is an experimentation ground, for tyranny in the world. Attached is another example of an illegitimate posting. The user never logged into Sierra Chart, and it is a trial account. It is deceptive. It is providing inaccurate information. It is providing instructions which are not even applicable to Sierra Chart and describing menus and interfaces which do not even exist. It also mentions that Sierra Chart would be in the Program Files folder. It is not there by default. And it is not recommended to be there and can malfunction in that folder. What is the purpose of this? The only thing that we can conclude, is that someone is trying to make us look bad. Since we delete the posting because it is clearly providing false and misleading information and then this person can say that Sierra Chart deleted their posts when they were trying to help users. So you can see they are trying to create a bad image for Sierra Chart, when we are trying to clean up the board and maintain accuracy. And so that there is no uncertainty, this very same user account who has not even used Sierra Chart has also made another illegitimate posting on the board, about a year ago, advertising another website.
