New computer - old charts won’t load

I got a new computer and installed Sierra chart on the new computer. I log in and the thing shows that I connect just fine and is lit green. I can load intra day charts just fine but when I try to open the .cht from my old computer it opens and is just a black chart with no data. I tried using the delete and download data option but nothing happens.

Get us your Message Log by following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:

Open the chartbook you have an issue with.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.

Your symbols need to be updated to the currently selected service (SC Data - All Services). Open your chartbooks and then select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service.

You should see the data flowing after you do this.
