Not receiving intraday data after updating SC (no other changes)

Hi, thanks for the fine software you've created. All was working as it normally should for 6 months until I updated SC to the most recent version. Charts no longer loading intraday data through "SC Data-All Services [data]" or any other service even through safe mode and turning off firewall. I also tried installing previous version as well as following all steps outlined in: Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues Still no luck fixing problem. Please help. Thx in advance. Hi, thank you for prompt response. I am not running third party firewall. Only Windows native firewall which I turned off and even allowed all SC executables (which I never had to do prior to this issue but did so for sake of troubleshooting). I checked on two other computers (which have not had SC updated - running 2308) and intraday data is also not loading on them whereas it used to (nothing loading past 9/14/21 for ES futures for example. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. In the meantime I will contact my ISP to ask if they are blocking or throttling my connections. |

Hi, I fixed the problem. Turns out that even though I am not running 3rd party firewall on my computers, my ISP does have one running on the router/modem/gateway they provide. That was the problem, it was set to high security and therefore blocking some data from coming through to SC. Perhaps it could benefit future users for this to be listed in the following page as a potential reason to the problem: Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues Again thx for the fine software you have put together and thx for the help. Also, where can I read about which IP addresses/ports must be allowed for all data to flow into SC? |
