Hello, I am new to Sierra Chart. What parts of Sierra Chart services are needed to be able to see and use real time data (to make use of tools like footprint charts, Times and sales, DOM, real time volume of transactions)? Thanks in advance. |

The answer is none. There are no specific tools within Sierra Chart that requires real-time data. The only reason for needing real-time data is for trading. We have available delayed streaming data from the CME Group, EUREX and CFE at no extra cost that is intended to be used when getting used to Sierra Chart. In all ways this data acts like real-time data, but is delayed by 10-15 minutes (depending on exchange). For more information, refer to the following: Delayed Exchange Data Feed This means that you can work with the DAX futures directly from the EUREX with the delayed data. But, if you want the CFD GER30 data, then that is also available at no extra cost as part of our Forex and CFD data.
