CTS chart not updating with update 1109

Gold chart still updates normally, but I haven't got any update for CL and FDAX charts, and the volume in my quote board for CL and DAX have stayed at 0 for the last 8 or so hours.

I can confirm this with the CTS FIX feed, at least with CL. All other symbols I use are updating properly, but CL has not been for the past couple of days. I am running v1109, connecting to the CTS FIX Similation Server (so it probably/might be on their end). Regards, |

I am having a similar problem, but with CL, ZN and NKD. v1109 The old contract identifiers still work on some contracts. |

At this point we are publicly complaining to CTS that the way that CTS handles symbols is unreliable and they are causing problems for us, and for customers. This is a very sad situation . We have given them a simple solution to implement to solve the problem, but as of yet they have not acknowledged any interest in it. And yet the solution that we suggested is to work how every other trading platform service works. CTS is unique in that a market ID, unique key, has to be resolved for an outright futures contract. We cannot simply subscribe to market data for a futures contract by specifying the symbol. We have to go through a two-step process looking for this unique key. If anything fails in that process, then it leads to these kinds of problems. We need someone to restart Sierra Chart, open your charts, let us know what the symbol of one of them that has a problem, then post a copy of the Message Log by following these steps: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#log What we suspect is happening is that there is a problem with the Security definition data coming back from CTS, if any, and we cannot resolve the market ID. We have to be completely honest here. This whole problem with CTS market IDs, security definition requests and symbology, is making us look like a complete idiot. Even though that is not the case. The problem is their system is not responding to a security definition request in order for us to get the unique market ID. This is what is leading to the problem in the most recent message log posted. We had noticed this problem when we asked for market IDs for expired contracts and we have to ask for those because users want to sometimes use expired contracts for continuous futures contracts. But then it leads to the problem where there sometimes is no response for unknown reasons. This is an intermittent problem. So we have to at this point, remove support for expired contracts until further notice. This is a final decision until CTS takes care of this problem. We got behind with version 1110. We put a lot more work into it related to CTS. We are releasing it now. Please update let us know how it works. We had little time to test it. A basic test shows that it should work fine with current futures contracts. We want to once again make it clear, there is no support for expired futures contracts in this version. So using the Continuous Futures Contract feature will not work properly if any historical data has to be downloaded. There is a problem with security definition responses from CTS relating to expired futures contracts. So that will have to be corrected by them. 997 is no longer supported with CTS T4. We provide no further help with that and Continuous Futures Contracts are not supported in that version.
