We have to be completely honest here. This whole problem with CTS market IDs, security definition requests and symbology, is making us look like a complete idiot. Even though that is not the case.

The problem is their system is not responding to a security definition request in order for us to get the unique market ID. This is what is leading to the problem in the most recent message log posted.

We had noticed this problem when we asked for market IDs for expired contracts and we have to ask for those because users want to sometimes use expired contracts for continuous futures contracts. But then it leads to the problem where there sometimes is no response for unknown reasons. This is an intermittent problem.

So we have to at this point, remove support for expired contracts until further notice. This is a final decision until CTS takes care of this problem.
