Limit Orders erroneously triggering upon placement

I just had a couple of instances of placing a limit order to buy well below the current bid/ask and getting filled immediately. I tried rebooting SC and the problem still occurred. I'm entering trades by using the chart trade mode and right clicking on the chart to place the trade at the desired level. I have been placing orders like this for the past month without an issue. Are you able to help diagnose the problem?

Thank you,
Jason Flenke

First, check what action your Right-click option is set to perform in the Buy column by going to Trade >> Chart DOM Settings and noting the setting for Right Click on Buy Column Below/Equal Last.

By default, this is set to Buy Stop, and any Buy Stop placed below the current price will fill immediately at the current price since the current price will give you a "better" price than what you are selecting.

Let us know if it is the above or not, and then we can try some other things.

I believe I discovered the issue, and I think it's something else. It looks like my Denali data feed reverted back to Delayed so the market levels I was seeing on the chart and placing orders against were delayed. Do you know why my charts would have reverted back to delayed data?

You did not have enough funds in your account on August 1, 2021 to automatically renew the exchange(s) that you had active. It looks like you have added funds, therefore you just need to go the Recurring Services page and scroll to the bottom and then select the button for Reactivate Exchange for the exchanges you want to reactivate. You can get to the Recurring Services page by selecting the following link and logging into the Sierra Chart website (if needed) using your Sierra Chart Account Name and Password:

Thank you. Is there a way to get my data feed and monthly service fee on automatic payment?

Yes, there is an automatic payments option available now. Go to the Payments page and scroll to the bottom and there is an option for Automatic Payments with Stripe. Select the button for Manage Automatic Payments and follow through the process to get setup.

You can access the Payments page by selecting Help >> Add Usage Credit from within your Sierra Chart software, or you can select the following link and login to the Sierra Chart website (if necessary):
