First, check what action your Right-click option is set to perform in the Buy column by going to Trade >> Chart DOM Settings and noting the setting for Right Click on Buy Column Below/Equal Last. By default, this is set to Buy Stop, and any Buy Stop placed below the current price will fill immediately at the current price since the current price will give you a "better" price than what you are selecting. Let us know if it is the above or not, and then we can try some other things.
