Hi,

Since the last updates (2253 and the current 2258) I have problems with the orders in Sierra Chart.

Having open orders, when I select "Order Fills", the open orders disappear, leaving only the "bracket orders" (SL & TP).

However in another chartbook with only the index, the orders appear fine.

When in the chartbook with several indexes (SP500, Nasdaq, Russell and DOW) the price touches the SL of the open order, it is converted to a supposed buy or sell order.
And in the chart with 1 index, the order is cancelled with the SL (as it should be).

Also in the "Activity Log" the orders disappear, while in the "Orders Window" they are still there".

and images of chartbooks of the Russell (in various timeframes, the big one is 5 minutes) and of the DOW (in various timeframes, the big one in 5 minutes).

(These images correspond to the same trades opened in the chartbook of the first image.)

in case it helps, I am now in "Simulated", I hope this would not happen to me in real...

We are not really sure what you are trying to tell us given the images that you have provided. In particular, when we look at images named:
- SSC_Bug_Orders_02_MYM.jpeg
- SSC_Bug_Orders_02_RTY.jpeg

These look just fine. The orders are showing on all the charts that have the same symbol, as they should.

When we look at the image named:
- SSC_Bug_Orders_01.jpeg

We do not see what the exact problem is that you are referencing. The chart in the bottom left is for the symbols F.US.RTYM21/F.US.M2KM21, whereas the chart on the bottom right is for the symbols F.US.YMM21/F.US.MYMM21. Therefore, these are different symbols and will therefore show different positions.

The only thing that we can really understand is that it sounds like an order was placed, but then disappeared and when the Stop was hit, it then actually opened a new position. You would need to look through your Trade Activity Log to see what happened with this particular case. Refer to the following information to help you determine the source of the issue:

I'm sorry, I didn't explain well

I mean that I have exclusive chartbooks for each index, and then, another chartbook to control positions in the different indexes from the same chartbook.

"SSC_Bug_Orders_02_MYM.jpeg" and "SSC_Bug_Orders_02_RTY.jpeg" are exclusive chartbooks for the indices, specifically for the DOW and Russell respectively, with various timeframes (5 minutes the big chart, and on the right from top to bottom, 1', 15' and 1 hour charts).

Then the image "SSC_Bug_Orders_01.jpeg" is the chartbook with several indices (SP500, NQ, Russell and DOW), where the bottom left chart is the Russell (RTY, trading the Micro-Russell M2K) and bottom right the DOW (YM, trading the Micro-DOW, MYM).

The positions shown in the images should be the same, i.e., the RTY open trade in "SSC_Bug_Orders_02_RTY.jpeg" should also be shown in the chartbook chart "SSC_Bug_Orders_01.jpeg" at the bottom left.
And the DOW trade, "SSC_Bug_Orders_02_MYM.jpeg" should also appear in "SSC_Bug_Orders_01.jpeg" at the bottom right.

But as you can see, they are not the same.

This happened when I selected "Show Fills" in the chartbook charts "SSC_Bug_Orders_01.jpeg", and the active order disappeared in this chartbook, leaving only the bracket orders (SL and TP), but the order and bracket orders (SL and TP) still appear in the specific chartbook for the index ("SSC_Bug_Orders_02_MYM.jpeg" - "SSC_Bug_Orders_02_RTY.jpeg")

Then, when the price touched the SL in the DOW index, and in the exclusive DOW chartbook "SSC_Bug_Orders_02_MYM.jpeg", the position was closed, but in the chartbook with several indices "SSC_Bug_Orders_01.jpeg", bottom right, the DOW took the supposed SL as an independent and new buy order.

This added to the fact that in the "Trade Activity Log", the orders of the day disappeared, and in the "Trade Orders" still appear some.

Anyway, yesterday I completely uninstalled Sierra Chart and its configurations, and I made a new installation, configuring everything again, to test it this week.

If I have the same problem again, I will comment it again, and I will add the "Message Log" and the "Trade Service Log".

I hope not to have any problems....

I will keep you informed.

Anyway, yesterday I completely uninstalled Sierra Chart and its configurations, and I made a new installation, configuring everything again, to test it this week.
This was totally unnecessary.

The positions shown in the images should be the same, i.e., the RTY open trade in "SSC_Bug_Orders_02_RTY.jpeg" should also be shown in the chartbook chart "SSC_Bug_Orders_01.jpeg" at the bottom left.
This is not true at all. We do not see what you are saying.

If you see different simulated positions between charts that have the same Symbol and Trade Account, then refer to:
Trade Simulation: Trade Simulation Position Quantity Calculation

This added to the fact that in the "Trade Activity Log", the orders of the day disappeared, and in the "Trade Orders" still appear some.
This does not make any sense and cannot be the case. Unless you deleted the data, or there was a pending query waiting for the data to be displayed. Refer to:
Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Not Displaying or Clearing (Improving Trade Activity Query Performance)

The information in the above link also may be part of the problem if you do not see a simulated position displayed in a chart when expected.

You are also communicating way way too much information. At this point we are not providing further support. If you are going to overwhelm us with information and make this too complicated which you are, we have to decline further support and that is what we are doing now. We have to put a halt to excessive and complicated information from users which is unnecessary.
