Hi SC support,

I got a memory error when trying to download more historical market depth data to an intraday chart. The command used was "Download Depth Data from Date-Time".

Failed to add to the depth data for GCM21_FUT_COMEX, possibly as a result of running out of memory. The depth data accounted for 1.63 gigabytes of memory. Depth data will be unavailable until the chart can be reloaded.

My system has 64GB memory and no other major application was running, so memory should not be a problem. It looks this thread reported the same issue in early March: Market Depth Historical Graph - Memory Error
Since it has been two months, could you please update the status and suggest if it could be fixed soon? This would be a very useful feature. Thank you!

There is no active work being done to resolve this. It is an operating system level limitation. We expect it would be a long time for any changes to be made to work around this kind of limitation. What we recommend you do is after you start the download, close the Chartbook until the market depth data is all downloaded.

Also reduce this setting:
Chart Settings: Maximum Market Depth Data Days to Load (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu)

The downloading works if removing Depth Historical Graph study from chart. Good enough for me now. Thanks.
