Hi! I wasn't able to find a topic on my questions so opening this ticket instead I've just started a trial with you here on Sierra. I've been trying to Setup the demo and I think the only thing missing is the CME live data feed, ( since it's delayed on atm) On the activation site for the free trial for a month and since it's nearing the end of month I would like to ask if I enable it now, will it run out on 30th of April, or continue until 26th of May? Also, since the Sierra chart only has 15 days of trial, can you extend it so I get the full use of the CME market data with it? To get familiar and used to the things on a new platform Thanks |

Exchanges are charged on a calendar month basis and they are not pro-rated. So if you activate an exchange today (April 26, 2021), you will pay the full amount just for the remainder of April. You will then pay the full amount again on May 1, 2021 for the month of May. Therefore, you should wait, if you can. Also, make sure you are aware of the requirement of the CME Group that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for the lower-priced non-professional exchange fees: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges If you do not have a trading account, and if you are just working with Sierra Chart to learn and test, then we really recommend just using the Delayed Exchange Data Feed, as this functions in all ways as live data, only it is delayed by 10-15 minutes and does not cost anything extra. Refer to the following: Delayed Exchange Data Feed As to your trial, we are not able to extend the time, as we only allow one 15 day trial in a 12 month period. Hi! Thanks for the response. I'll wait for the new month to start. Does the free month only work on live funded accounts, or can it be used on demo account as well? (It doesn't really make any sense to use delayed data, even if you're using demo). Or is it separated from the fact that I need a live funded account to get access to the free month? If you can use it on demo, I assume the free month is not possible when I fund my account with amp, correct? Thanks! |

The free month of the data feed has nothing to do with live account or demo account. The exchange does not know anything about that aspect. But, what is important is the requirement to have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for the non-professional exchanges. To make that qualification, you do need to have a live account. A demo account will not work to make the verification. Thanks for the fast response! Trying to get a hang of it all now. Also just got informed that you now pay the platform through your site ( think it got changed this month from AMP/ you here at sierra) So basically as far as I understand it I only connect my AMP futures account with you here and have the data fee ( CQG or Rithmic with them ), to get the lower priced exchange fee Then I pay the Service package I want with you here and the extra exchange fee of $10.40 for CME in order to get the market data So all in all $56.40 for the whole "package"? Please inform me if there is something else I should be aware of. Thanks |

The only thing we want to point out is that when you are paying for your data to us, then you can tell your broker that you do not want to pay for the data from CQG or Rithmic. In which case, the $56.40 is the full amount you would pay per month for the Advanced Package with the Denali Exchange Data Feed and the CME with Market Depth.
