Hello,

My use case is "Scanning Large Number of Intraday Charts", with approx 2500 NYSE and NASDAQ symbols.

I need to know within approx 15-20 seconds of an alert being triggered and I may be using 1m bars or indeed 15-20 second bars for studies/signals.

It seems like I need streaming / real time data and to run 2,500 chart objects as iterating through that list with the built in scanner may be too slow?

Is this something suitable for Sierra? Would 2,500 chart objects be an issue, and also what would the price for 2,500 real time symbols be? I am planning to use ACSIL to ingest a CSV of symbols and programatically open the charts with the desired settings.

Thank you in advance. There is not a decent off the shelf equities market scanner available which does what I need.

Yes we would think so.

Would 2,500 chart objects be an issue,
Not for Sierra Chart but for the Windows operating system definitively. However, if you keep the charts hidden and destroyed and just only existing in the background that should work. But really you would have to to test to be sure.

Refer to:
General Settings Window: Destroy Chart Windows when Hidden (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Application GUI)

Disabling Sierra Chart User Interface to Eliminate Graphics Load

You would also want to distribute the charts among multiple Chartbooks and instances:
Chartbooks (Workspaces)
Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance

and also what would the price for 2,500 real time symbols be?
We can do this for 190 USD a-month. This would be for the data feed only.

Definitely test before you subscribe to the data feed. We have reactivated your trial.
