Confused, want to use CQG the way I used to use TTFIX

Hi,

I guess I'm a little confused as I'm not using TT-FIX any more -- I switched when AMP stopped supporting it a while back. My setup in SC is showing CQG WebAPI for my trading service and I'm able to place trades with my primary account. My AMP statements show CQG trading fees and not TT-FIX trading fees. I'm using Denali feed and that is set to auto-renew on Saturday. The message log when I disconnect and reconnect appears to confirm Denali with CQG.

I only have one set of AMP and CQG credentials. I created and funded a sub-account within AMP for trading a separate strategy. I would expect it to also use CQG. I was following the instructions here AMP Sub-Account with the intent of trading it in a sub-instance. Let me know if I'm misunderstanding something.

Thank you,
M.

If both accounts are accessible through your single CQG login, then both accounts will be listed in the Account field of the Trade Window. Refer to the following:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM)

In which case you do not want to use a Sub-Instance to be able to trade both accounts. Rather you would want to install a separate installation of Sierra Chart on the same computer. There are no additional fees for doing this. Refer to the following:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

It looks like I missed a step with AMP and the sub-account was not associated with my CQG login. Everything is working for me now.

To post a message in this thread, you need to log in with your Sierra Chart account:
